Carver Community Organization is approaching its 80th year serving the Evansville community. As we prepare for our Diamond Jubilee Celebration, I can’t help but reflect on all the giving, caring, and hard-working individuals and volunteers that are part of our organization. Carver has continued our rich history by building local, regional, state, and national partnerships that enhances opportunities for a bright future. I have no doubt that these connections created since 1944, will carry Carver into its next 75 years.
While Carver continues to reach milestones, I am approaching one of my own. In 2019, I will have served as Executive Director of this great organization for 30 years. It’s clear we have a lot to celebrate, both our storied past and our bright future.
Over the years, we have evolved to meet the needs of the community and we are proud to offer opportunities and resources to so many. Presently, there is energy behind preparing for the future. We are building on our strong foundation and investing time in strategically focused growth. We stand steadfast in our obligation to family, opportunity, and connectivity, and we strive to continue providing high quality services for all generations.
We applaud all of the dedicated board of directors, talented staff members, and committed partners for creating the existing nimble culture of this responsive organization.
